Caladium Freida Hemple

Caladium is a spectacular foliage plant, prized for its large, heart-shaped leaves in vibrant colors: white, pink, green, red… Each variety offers a unique, almost artistic pattern. Ideal for brightening up a bright corner, it is a plant with irresistible tropical charm.

• Light : Bright but indirect light. Too much direct sunlight can burn the leaves.

• Watering : Keep the soil slightly moist during the growing season, but not overly so. Reduce watering when the foliage begins to wilt.

• Humidity : Likes high humidity. Mist regularly or use a humidifier.

• Temperature : Minimum 18°C. Does not like cold drafts.

• Substrate : Well-drained, rich, light potting soil.

• Fertilization : Every 2 weeks during the growth period (spring/summer).

• Resting period : Foliage dies in autumn; goes dormant. Renews in spring with warmth.

• Repotting : Replant the tubers in spring, 2–3 cm deep.

• Toxicity : Toxic to animals.
