Hoya Macrophylla albo marginata
The Hoya Macrophylla, also known as the "wax plant" because of its thick, waxy leaves, is an exotic and attractive houseplant. Its large, ribbed green leaves, often edged in white or pink, bring a tropical and elegant touch to any space. This plant is also appreciated for its starry and fragrant flowers which appear in hanging umbels.
Care :
- Light : Hoya Macrophylla prefers bright, indirect light. It can tolerate some direct sun, but it is best to avoid prolonged exposure.
- Watering : Water moderately, allowing the soil surface to dry between waterings. In winter, reduce the frequency of watering.
- Temperature : Maintain a temperature between 18°C and 24°C. Protect it from cold drafts.
- Humidity : Likes moderate to high humidity. Mist the leaves regularly or use a humidifier to maintain good humidity levels.
- Fertilizer : Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer).
- Support : Provide support or a trellis so the plant can climb and spread naturally.
Hoya Macrophylla is an easy-going, undemanding houseplant, ideal for plant lovers wanting to add an exotic touch to their home.
