Palo Santo Incense

Plant your feet on the ground, look down, and with a stick of Palo Santo in hand, tap into the history of this sacred wood. By honoring its origins in spiritual ceremonies and purification practices, you will deepen your connection to the ritual and the world around you.

Open your eyes and, with a flick of the lighter, light your stick and breathe in its woody, lemony scent. Exhale and let go of the negativity you wish to cleanse from your space.

How to use: Light the end of the stick until there is a small flame. It may take up to a minute for the flame to be lit, so we recommend using a candle and holding the stick at a lower angle.

Once lit, hold it upright and let the Palo Santo burn for 10-20 seconds. Then blow and spread the fragrant smoke throughout your home by painting the air with the stick. The smoke will continue for about a minute and then stop. Then place your stick in a Palo Santo holder or fireproof bowl.

Each stick can be re-lit dozens of times and Palo Santo ashes can be sprinkled on the soil of plants to provide them with natural nutrients.

As with any flame or lighted object, use caution when burning.
