Aglaonema | 'Red Siam'
Aglaonema is a tropical plant native to the humid forests of Southeast Asia. It is known for its large, lustrous, and richly variegated leaves—a true living painting in your home. There are hundreds of varieties, ranging from deep green to pink, red, cream, and lime hues. Each leaf is unique, like a work of art from nature.
It is one of the most popular houseplants in the world—and for good reason.
Light: Indirect light. Coloured varieties prefer more brightness to maintain their vibrant hues. Avoid direct sun.
Watering: Allow the topsoil to dry out between waterings. Moderate in summer, reduced in winter. It forgives forgetting—but not overwatering!
Temperature: Between 18°C and 27°C. No cold drafts, never below 15°C.
Humidity: Appreciates moderate humidity.
Soil & Repotting: Well-draining potting mix for tropical plants. Repot every 2 years in spring.
Fertilization: Liquid fertilizer once a month, spring and summer only.
⚠️ Toxic to cats, dogs, and young children if ingested.
