Episcia cupreata is a tropical plant with decorative, velvety foliage, often coppery, deep green, or silvery depending on the variety. It produces small, bright flowers, most often red or orange, which contrast beautifully with its lush foliage. Ideal as a hanging plant or in a decorative pot, it brings an exotic and colorful touch to the interior.

Care

• Light : Bright, indirect light, avoid direct sunlight which burns its leaves.

• Watering : Keep the soil slightly moist, but not overwatered. Sensitive to drying out.

• Humidity : Enjoys a humid atmosphere (ideally 60% or more). Avoid wetting the foliage when watering.

• Temperature : Likes warmth, between 20 and 26°C. Do not expose below 15°C.

• Fertilizer : Apply a liquid flowering plant fertilizer every 2 to 3 weeks during spring and summer.

• Care : Remove faded flowers to encourage flowering. Can spread by runners, easy to propagate.
