Calathea lancifolia "Rattlesnake"

With its long, wavy leaves adorned with dark green patterns on a light green background and a purple underside, Calathea lancifolia is a tropical plant with spectacular foliage. It brings an exotic and lively touch to any interior space.

• Light : Moderate to bright indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which bleaches the leaves.

• Watering : Keep the soil evenly moist but never soggy. Use soft water if possible.

• Humidity : Likes high humidity. Ideally 50% or higher. Frequent misting or a humidity tray is recommended.

• Temperature : Prefers temperatures between 18 and 25°C. Avoid drafts and cold.

• Substrate : Light, rich, well-drained potting soil. A tropical plant mix works well.

• Fertilization : Once a month in spring and summer with a mild houseplant fertilizer.

• Pruning : Remove yellowed or damaged leaves at the base to stimulate growth.
