Spathiphyllum , also called "Peace Lily", is a houseplant appreciated for its glossy green foliage and elegant white spathe-shaped flowers. In addition to its decorative appeal, it is known for its air-purifying properties, filtering toxins from the environment.
Easy to maintain, it adapts well to interiors and tolerates low light conditions, making it an excellent choice for homes and offices.
Care
- Light : Indirect light to partial shade. Avoid direct sunlight which burns the leaves.
- Watering : Keep the soil slightly moist, without overwatering. Wait until the top of the soil dries before watering.
- Temperature : 18-25°C, sensitive to drafts and cold.
- Humidity : Likes a humid atmosphere, spray lightly in case of dry air.
- Soil and fertilizer : Rich, well-draining soil. Liquid fertilizer once a month in spring and summer.
- Pruning : Remove faded flowers and damaged leaves to stimulate growth.
- Multiplication : Division of clumps when repotting.
- Common Problems : Yellow leaves = too much water | Brown leaves = too dry air | No flowers = too little light or fertilizer.
An elegant and depolluting plant, it brings a touch of freshness and serenity to any interior.
